Can ITBHU get that desired I?

Nowadays there r rumours that ITBHU is about to be upgraded to IIT. But seeing the last few years this may look like just a proposal that will be put back again into any ice-box as usual.
IIT tag is much awaited by the ITBHU students but the politics has kept that tag away from us.
Politics is on the 2 levels-
1. College level - At college level even , BHU is not setting IT free because IT is very prestigious Faculty of BHU.
2. National level - Indian govt is in confusion whenever ITBHU name is proposed as an IIT. If ITBHU is made IIT , then they have to make AMU Engineering College as an IIT too. So I feel MHRD minister will be very happy with the former politics played in BHU , so that undeserving colleges like AMU are not given IIT tag.

This tag can help us all in 1 way. The next two passing batches will be happy because they get IIT tag. After 2 years even college will improve because of funds and much better ranked students so they will get benefit in jobs and research fields. Even faculty will improve in the college.
Good news is that this time conditions seem bit serious. We get mail that ITBHU name is proposed as IIT-BHU. Hoping for the best.
